PAINTING

Aidas' paintings are spontaneous and intuitive, often inspired by symbols and sacred or ancient texts. She starts with a large, taped canvas, attempting to capture dreams and images she envisions. She then swiftly uses that color palette to create 4-10 smaller pieces, staying present and allowing the process to unfold naturally. This continues until the main image on canvass feels complete, at which point she transitions to a new work that inspires further creations. Her approach, especially with paintings on paper, involves working without preconceived ideas, remaining open to the messages the paint conveys. Her images emerge gradually or sometimes immediately, as her colors  play and communicate together.
